Do I get a discount for order larger quantity?

Yes and no.  We have a setup fee and just charge time and material for the part.  If you order 1 part that cost $5.00 to make you pay $5.00 plus the setup fee.  If you order 100 parts you can amortize the setup fee over a 100 part so the per part cost is much lower.  We do offer price breaks on both time and material if the order gets very large do to the fact we can order material in bulk.  We also offer a service call down time services.  If you have a part or product you need a constant supply of and are not in a hurry we will just keep you job in cue and cut when the machine has a gap in jobs (down time).  For this service we do not charge a setup fee everytime we run a small batch.

How deep can you laser burn or laser etch into wood?

As deep as you want, we have very powerful flying gantry machines that can make deep burn relatively fast. Our machines are 2-20 times as powerful as most laser engravers.

How do lasers work?

Check out some of this link: https://make.works/blog/guide-to-laser-cutting

How fast can you turn a job around?

Depends on the size.  We are about as fast as you get for our industry.  We can turn around jobs as fat as same day.  There is of course a fee associated with rush jobs.  Our standard lead time on small to medium jobs is 5 day from the time we have artwork and material in house.

How large are you tables?

Our bed / table is 48″ x 96″ and can hold material 51″ x 120″.

How tall a object can you get in your lasers?

Our tables have a large range of motion and can accommodate up to 17″ deep part.

Why is there a setup fee?

It helps keep pricing level.  The more you order the better the price.  If you order 1 small part it might take 30 seconds cut or engrave but we still have the emails, design time and laser setup.  This way we can charge the true price for the part let say $0.50 and the setup fee covers our other costs.  Next time you order and it’s 1000 part we still charge you the same $0.50 but the setup fee is amortized over 1000 parts.
